What is a Venture Expedition?

A Venture Expedition is a highly focused journey to one of our local cities (Denver, Tokyo, Paris), undertaken with the purpose of exploring new opportunities in a structured and purposeful way.


During these trips, you will “discover” new leads, partnerships, and business possibilities, all during an intense 3-5 days on the ground.


In the standard model, Expeditions will be timed to coincide with a key trade show in the same city.  Large shows are a great way to interact with many people and companies from around the world in a specific industry.


With or without the trade show component, velocify will leverage its local network to organize an Expedition itinerary that includes various planning and partnership meetings, site visits, and cultural experiences.

Pre-flight

Before departing, we will co-create a roadmap for the visit that covers all the bases.  Marketing collateral in the local language will be prepared to ensure key messaging is delivered clearly.


Based on the desired outcomes, velocify will arrange a number of meetings with potential distributors, partners, licensors, and investors – as the case may be.


With thorough preparation, it's possible to gain pivotal knowledge and contacts in just a few days inside this fully-immersive experience.

The Expedition

While on the ground, the itinerary will focus on (1) walking the trade show, (2) off-site meetings, and (3) other site visits – both business and cultural.
